About My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia (also known as Boku no Hero Academia) is a popular superhero shonen anime set in a modern world where about 80% of people are born with superpowers called "Quirks".

The story centers on Izuku Midoriya (Deku), a kind-hearted but Quirkless boy who has dreamed of becoming a hero his entire life, inspired by the world's greatest hero, All Might. Despite being bullied and told it's impossible, Izuku never gives up on his dream.

His life changes forever when he meets All Might and, through an incredible turn of events, inherits the powerful Quirk "One For All" — making him the new successor to the Symbol of Peace.

Izuku enrolls in U.A. High School, Japan's top hero academy, where he trains alongside other talented aspiring heroes (like his explosive childhood rival Katsuki Bakugo, the cool Shoto Todoroki, and cheerful Ochaco Uraraka) to learn how to control his new power, become a pro hero, and protect society.

The series follows their growth through intense training, school competitions, villain battles, internships, and escalating threats from powerful antagonists (especially the League of Villains and its leader Tomura Shigaraki) who want to tear down the hero society.

It's full of action, heart, great character development, themes of heroism, perseverance, and what it really means to be a hero — even when the odds are against you.
