Izuku Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya (also known as Deku) is the main protagonist of My Hero Academia.

He's a kind-hearted, determined, and highly intelligent boy who was born Quirkless in a world where almost everyone has superpowers. Despite this, he dreams of becoming a great hero like his idol, All Might.

Izuku is characterized by:

• Exceptional analytical skills and strategic thinking
• An encyclopedic knowledge of heroes and Quirks
• A strong sense of justice and willingness to risk his life to save others
• A tendency to mumble when thinking deeply or analyzing situations
• Massive respect and admiration for All Might

After inheriting the Quirk One For All from All Might, he gradually learns to control its immense power (which initially breaks his bones when he uses it). Over time he develops incredible physical strength, speed, and eventually masters multiple Quirks stored within One For All.

His hero name "Deku" (originally an insult meaning "useless") is reclaimed by him as a symbol of never giving up and turning weakness into strength.
