All Might, whose real name is Toshinori Yagi, is one of the central characters in My Hero Academia. He is the former No. 1 Pro Hero in Japan and was widely regarded as the Symbol of Peace — a towering beacon of hope who single-handedly deterred villains and inspired an era of peace through his overwhelming strength and charismatic presence.
In his hero form, All Might appears as a massively muscular, blond-haired figure with a classic superhero build, always flashing a wide grin and exuding confidence with his iconic catchphrase: "It's fine now. Why? Because I am here!"
He inherited the powerful Quirk One For All from his mentor Nana Shimura (making him its eighth user) and used it to become the world's greatest hero despite originally being born Quirkless. Later in the story, due to a severe injury from a past battle with All For One, he can only maintain his empowered form for a limited time, and his true appearance is a tall, thin, sunken-eyed man with messy blond hair.
All Might eventually passes One For All to his successor, Izuku Midoriya (Deku), and transitions into a mentoring role at U.A. High School while continuing to embody unwavering heroism, self-sacrifice, and belief in the next generation.
