Tenya Ida

Tenya Ida (also spelled Iida in some translations) is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School in My Hero Academia. He serves as the class representative, known for his strict sense of discipline, responsibility, and strong adherence to rules and honor.

He's tall, muscular, with short, neatly combed dark blue hair (parted to the side with a small shaved section at the back), square features, and sharp blue eyes. His most distinctive trait is his Quirk, Engine, which manifests as powerful engines in his calves, granting him incredible super speed and turbo-like acceleration.

Personality-wise, Tenya comes across as serious, uptight, and somewhat intimidating at first, often making dramatic hand-chopping gestures when speaking passionately about rules or duty. Deep down, he's earnest, intelligent, noble, highly dedicated, and deeply loyal to his friends and family legacy (he's from a renowned hero family and inherits the hero name Ingenium from his older brother). While he can be overly rigid or socially awkward due to his elite upbringing, he grows throughout the series, showing strong moral conviction and a genuine desire to become a true hero who protects others.
