Eraser Head (Shota Aizawa)

Shota Aizawa, better known by his hero name Eraser Head (or Eraserhead), is a Pro Hero and the homeroom teacher for Class 1-A at U.A. High School in My Hero Academia.

He has a tall, slender build with pale skin, long messy black hair that falls over his face, tired half-lidded black eyes, and a perpetually exhausted, unkempt appearance (complete with stubble and bloodshot eyes from lack of sleep). He often wears a black outfit with a long capture weapon scarf wrapped around his neck, which he uses in combat.

His Quirk, called Erasure, lets him temporarily nullify (erase) another person's Quirk simply by making direct eye contact with them. His eyes turn red and his hair floats when it's active, but the effect ends if he blinks, so he carries eye drops and has trained himself to keep his eyes open for extended periods.

Personality-wise, Aizawa comes across as stern, apathetic, logical, and no-nonsense — he's strict with his students, frequently uses "logical ruses" (tough love or deceptive tests) to push them harder, and prioritizes practicality over flashiness. Despite his gruff, tired demeanor and preference for working as an underground hero (avoiding the spotlight), he genuinely cares deeply about his students' safety and growth, willing to risk his life to protect them.
