The Misfit of Demon King Academy

The Misfit of Demon King Academy (original title: Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha) is a fantasy isekai/reincarnation anime where the legendary Demon King Anos Voldigoad, tired of endless wars between demons and humans, sacrifices himself to reincarnate 2,000 years later in a more peaceful era.

He awakens in a world where demons have grown much weaker due to the peace he created, history has distorted his legacy (including a false Demon King named Avos Dilhevia taking credit), and magic has declined. To reclaim his place and fix things, Anos enrolls in the Demon King Academy — a school designed to identify and train the reincarnated Demon King.

However, his overwhelming power is so immense that modern measurement tools can't even register it properly, leading everyone (students, teachers, and even descendants) to label him a "misfit" or incompetent. Undeterred, the ultra-confident and overwhelmingly OP Anos casually dominates challenges, uncovers conspiracies, makes allies (like the twin sisters Misha and Sasha Necron), and proves his identity while dealing with discrimination against hybrid demons, forgotten truths, and escalating threats.

It's packed with over-the-top action, comedy from Anos's nonchalant god-tier attitude, school life antics, and themes of power, prejudice, and legacy. The series has two seasons so far, with the protagonist basically being the ultimate "I'm too strong for this nonsense" archetype done in a fun, bombastic way!
