Golroana Delo Jiordal

Golroana Delo Jiordal (also spelled as Golroana Delo Giordal in some translations) is a character who appears in The Misfit of Demon King Academy II (the second season of the anime).

He serves as the Pope of the Holy Nation of Jiordal (or Giordal), a human religious state in the Underground World. Golroana is a devout, prayer-focused leader who wields powerful Gospel Magic through his contract with his Selection God, Doldread (the God of Gospel/Sound), allowing him to manipulate sound-based attacks, resurrect former popes as support, and use abilities tied to divine sound and intangibility.

In the anime, he clashes with the protagonist Anos Voldigoad over conflicts involving their nations' futures, peace, and divine matters. Golroana remains committed to prayer and his faith even during battle, viewing his role as maintaining order and pursuing his vision of equality or peace through his religious beliefs. He is voiced by Chris Hackney in the English dub.

He's portrayed as a formidable antagonist/foil in his arc, emphasizing themes of faith, divine power, and ideological differences with Anos.
