Raos Jilphor

Raos Jilphor (also referred to as Laos Kanon Jilfor in some translations) is a supporting character from the anime adaptation of The Misfit of Demon King Academy (primarily appearing in the Hero Academy arc during Season 2).

He is a student at the Hero Academy in Azesion, ranked #4 in his class (the selective "Jerga-Kanon" group), and one of the top human "hero" candidates who believe themselves to be reincarnations of the legendary Hero Kanon (specifically claiming to hold Kanon's "third source"). Raos is tall, extremely burly/muscular, with red eyes and a prominent scar on his right cheek, giving him an intimidating, battle-hardened look.

In terms of personality, he's straightforward, hot-tempered, blunt (often rude/impolite), and has a battle-loving side—he's quick to get aggressive when provoked. He's initially arrogant, narrow-minded, and deeply prejudiced against demons due to his upbringing and brainwashing via tainted holy magic, leading him to hate and underestimate them.

In the anime, he clashes with Anos and the demon characters during inter-academy events/exams, often acting impulsively (e.g., attacking when challenged or insulted), but he gets overpowered or humbled relatively quickly in confrontations. He's associated with fire-based abilities (as the "Destruction Knight of the Holy Flame") and fights alongside classmates like Ledriano and Heine.

Overall, he's portrayed as a prideful but somewhat one-dimensional antagonist-type foil in his appearances, highlighting human-demon tensions and the misconceptions from the false history.
