Aeges Code

Aeges Code (also spelled Ijess Code or similar in some translations) is a powerful demon character from The Misfit of Demon King Academy anime, specifically appearing in the second season.

He is one of the Four Evil Kings (or Four Demon Kings), titled the Netherworld King (Meiō). He is a great demon from the Mythical Age who was a contemporary and rival/competitor to the Demon King Anos Voldigoad back in the ancient era of wars and chaos.

In the anime's adaptation (particularly Season 2), Aeges is portrayed as a serious, prudent, and honorable figure — often strict and composed, though he can relax in peaceful moments. He has a rugged, middle-aged appearance with short white hair, dark armor, crimson accents, and a prominent eyepatch covering half his face. His source (core essence) is tied to blood, which enhances his power (especially his spear-based abilities) as he nears destruction or draws on it.

He and the other Evil Kings are reintroduced in the story as part of the broader conflicts involving ancient demons, the Spirit School in Aharthern, and events connected to Anos' past and the world's deeper mysteries. Aeges values straightforwardness and detests deception.
