Sailor Jupiter

Sailor Jupiter (civilian name: Makoto Kino, sometimes called Lita in older English dubs) is one of the main Inner Sailor Guardians in the 1990s Sailor Moon anime.

In her civilian form, Makoto is a tall (about 168 cm / 5'6", the tallest of the Inner Senshi), strong, and athletic teenage girl with long, wavy chestnut-brown hair usually tied in a high ponytail with a green hair tie. She has green eyes and often wears pink rose-shaped earrings. Due to her height, strength, and rumors from her previous school (involving a fight), she initially gives off a tough, somewhat intimidating or "delinquent" vibe when she transfers to Juuban Municipal Junior High, especially since she has to wear her old school's longer uniform skirt because nothing else fits her.

Despite appearances, Makoto is extremely kind, nurturing, and gentle, often acting like a big sister to the group. She's very feminine at heart, passionate about cooking, baking, flower arranging, and gardening, and she loves traditionally "girly" things while also being physically powerful and protective. She frequently makes homemade treats for her friends.

As Sailor Jupiter, she wears a green-and-pink sailor fuku (with green skirt, pink bows, white gloves, and laced green boots), a tiara with a green gem, and she channels powers of thunder/lightning and nature/plants. She's known as the pretty guardian who fights for love and courage (or sometimes protection), and she's the physically strongest of the Inner Senshi, often serving as the group's powerhouse and coordinator in battles.

Her iconic introduction line is something like: "I am the Pretty Guardian who fights for Love and for Courage. I am Sailor Jupiter!" (with dramatic flair about making enemies regret their actions). She's a balanced mix of toughness and tenderness, making her a fan-favorite for her warm yet formidable personality.
