Sailor Neptune

Sailor Neptune (civilian name: Michiru Kaiou / Michiru Kaioh in some translations) is one of the Outer Sailor Guardians in the Sailor Moon anime (particularly prominent in the 1990s series during the Infinity/Sailor Moon S arc).

In her civilian form, Michiru is a beautiful, elegant teenage girl with wavy teal/aquamarine hair that falls just past her shoulders and deep blue eyes. She attends the prestigious Mugen Academy (Infinity Academy) and is a highly talented violinist who performs professionally, as well as an accomplished painter and swimmer. She exudes grace, sophistication, maturity, and a calm, composed demeanor, often coming across as refined, intelligent, and somewhat aloof or mysterious compared to the more bubbly Inner Senshi.

As Sailor Neptune, she is the Soldier of the Deep Sea / Guardian of the Deep Sea, associated with the planet Neptune and oceanic themes. Her powers focus on water/sea-based attacks (like Deep Submerge), precognition/subspace sensing (via her Deep Aqua Mirror), and she often displays a more serious, duty-bound, and occasionally ruthless attitude when protecting the world from threats, willing to make hard choices that the Inner Senshi might hesitate over. She is in a close romantic partnership with Sailor Uranus (Haruka Tenou), and the two frequently operate as a paired team among the Outers.
