Zaneri

Zaneri is a supporting character in The Seven Deadly Sins anime (Nanatsu no Taizai), appearing primarily during the Istar arc in Revival of the Commandments (Season 2).

She is one of the two heads of the Druids in the sacred land of Istar, alongside her older (semi-identical twin) sister Jenna. In reality, Zaneri is a former member of the Goddess Clan who abandoned the ancient Holy War over 3,000 years ago, choosing instead to live peacefully among humans by inhabiting a consenting human vessel (which gives her the appearance of a young girl despite her true age).

In the anime, she has a small, youthful build with burgundy (or violet-toned) hair tied in a braid, blue-green eyes, and wears a modest white gown-like outfit with a long skirt and an off-shoulder design.

Personality-wise, Zaneri is serious, stoic, and reserved — she rarely smiles, remains very professional in her duties as a Druid leader, and shows little warmth toward outsiders. This contrasts sharply with her more cheerful and playful sister Jenna. Zaneri harbors subtle romantic feelings for Meliodas (which are unreciprocated), and this influences some of her actions, including her involvement in the trials for regaining his power and her interactions with Elizabeth during training. She can come across as stern or even petty at times when her emotions are involved, but she ultimately supports the group when needed.
