Elizabeth Liones

Elizabeth Liones is one of the central characters in the anime The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai), serving as the deuteragonist and love interest of Meliodas.

She is the third princess of the Kingdom of Liones (adopted by King Bartra Liones after the destruction of her original home, the Kingdom of Danafor). At the start of the series, she's a 16-year-old girl who flees the capital alone after a coup by the Holy Knights, determined to find the legendary Seven Deadly Sins to save her kingdom.

In terms of appearance, Elizabeth is depicted as a beautiful young woman with very pale skin, long silver hair (often reaching her waist), and large light blue eyes (her right eye sometimes shows a unique mark related to her heritage). She has a slender yet curvaceous build and is often seen in simple, modest clothing, like a waitress outfit while working at Meliodas's tavern, the Boar's Hat.

Personality-wise, she's polite, kind-hearted, selfless, and deeply compassionate — always prioritizing others' safety, even at risk to herself. She's brave and courageous despite not being a fighter initially, showing strong determination and willingness to protect people. She's also somewhat gullible and easily flustered (especially by Meliodas's antics and teasing), but she grows more resolute over the series as she uncovers her deeper connections and hidden abilities tied to her past.
