Ban

Ban is one of the main members of the Seven Deadly Sins in the anime The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai), bearing the title of the Fox's Sin of Greed (symbolized by a fox mark on his left side).

In terms of appearance, he's depicted as a very tall (around 210 cm / 6'11"), muscular man with a lean yet well-defined build, often slouching casually. He has short, spiky light cyan (pale blue) hair, thin black eyebrows, striking red (magenta-red) eyes, and a prominent large scar running from his left jaw down his neck (inflicted by Meliodas in the past). His outfit typically includes a casual, rugged style—often seen without a shirt or in simple clothing like leather pants and a red scarf/leather jacket vibe, emphasizing his laid-back, tough look. He also serves as the cook for the group's tavern, the Boar Hat.

Personality-wise, Ban comes across as carefree, laid-back, and somewhat selfish/greedy (fitting his sin), with a playful, teasing side—he loves drinking, fighting, and getting excited about interesting things (like discovering a talking pig). Despite that rough, bandit-like exterior (he's known as "Bandit Ban" or "Undead Ban" from his past), he's deeply loyal and caring toward his comrades, especially his close friend Meliodas, and shows a softer, protective side when it matters most.

His standout trait in the anime is his immortality (earned from drinking the Fountain of Youth), which lets him regenerate from almost any injury, making him incredibly durable and hard to kill—though this changes later in the story after major events like his time in Purgatory. His main power is Snatch, which lets him steal physical objects or even temporarily rob opponents of their strength/speed from a distance.

Overall, he's a fan-favorite for his chill vibe, badass fighting style, tragic backstory involving love and loss, and strong bonds with the group.
