Escanor

Escanor is one of the main characters in the anime The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai). He is the Sin of Pride and bears the symbol of the Lion. He is a tall, muscular man with a distinctive mustache, often seen wearing a suit of armor or elegant clothing.

Escanor's most unique trait is his "Sunshine" power, which causes his strength, size, and personality to dramatically change depending on the time of day:

• At night and during the day (when the sun is not at its peak): He appears as a frail, skinny, timid, and polite man who is very humble and even self-deprecating.
• Around noon (when the sun is at its highest): He transforms into a towering, extremely muscular, confident, and arrogant version of himself, boasting about his strength and looking down on others. This form is often called his "The One" state, where he reaches his absolute peak power.

Escanor is known for his dramatic entrance lines (like "Who decided that?"), his overwhelming power (especially in his daytime form), and his loyalty to his comrades despite his prideful attitude. His character is a fan favorite due to the stark contrast between his two personalities and his epic battles, particularly against strong opponents like the Demon King or the Ten Commandments.

In the anime, his arc focuses heavily on his struggle with his own power and pride, culminating in some of the series' most memorable fights and emotional moments.
