Sailor Venus

Sailor Venus (civilian name: Minako Aino) is one of the main Inner Sailor Guardians in the Sailor Moon anime.

In her civilian form, Minako is a cheerful, energetic, and outgoing teenage girl with long blonde hair (usually worn down with a signature big red bow) and blue eyes. She's very athletic, loves sports like volleyball, and has a bubbly, sometimes silly or dramatic personality. She dreams of becoming a famous idol singer and is quite boy-crazy/romantic, often trying to play matchmaker or get involved in love-related antics.

As Sailor Venus, she is the Guardian of Love and Beauty, representing the planet Venus. She was the first Sailor Guardian to awaken (originally operating solo as the masked heroine Sailor V a year before the others), and she joins the team later in the story. Her iconic sailor fuku features an orange skirt, navy blue elements, a yellow bow in back, orange accents (choker, heels, etc.), and a gold tiara with an orange gem. Her powers revolve around love, light, and energy, with signature attacks like Crescent Beam (a piercing beam of light) and Venus Love-Me Chain (a glowing chain attack).

In the anime version, she's portrayed as more lighthearted, goofy, and similar in vibe to Usagi/Sailor Moon compared to her more serious, tomboyish manga counterpart, often providing comic relief while still being a capable and loyal fighter who takes her guardian duties seriously when it counts.
