Barry (Japanese name: Jun) is one of the most recognizable rival characters from the Pokémon anime, specifically appearing in the Diamond & Pearl series.

• Personality: Extremely hyperactive, impatient, and loud. He has a very short temper and gets worked up easily.
• Signature trait: He is obsessed with being on time and has a habit of giving people his "lifetime savings" (usually ¥1,000,000 in the Japanese version, translated as $1,000,000 in the English dub) whenever he accidentally bumps into someone or thinks he's late — which happens very frequently.
