About Lust

Lust is one of the primary antagonists in the Fullmetal Alchemist anime (2003 series), and she appears as one of the seven Homunculi—artificial humans created from failed human transmutation attempts and infused with Philosopher's Stones.

In the 2003 anime, Lust is portrayed as a seductive, sultry, and highly manipulative femme fatale. She has a voluptuous figure, pale skin, long black hair, and striking red eyes, often dressed in a revealing black dress with a deep neckline that accentuates her allure. Her most distinctive feature is the Ouroboros tattoo (the black-and-red snake eating its own tail) on her upper left breast, the mark of all Homunculi.

Her special ability is extending razor-sharp, claw-like blades from her fingertips, which she uses with deadly precision and grace in combat. She is cold, calculating, and takes pleasure in toying with humans, especially exploiting their desires and weaknesses.

Personality-wise, Lust is confident, cruel, and sadistic, with a strong sense of superiority over humans. She enjoys manipulating people, particularly men, using her beauty and charm as weapons. Despite her villainous role, she shows moments of curiosity about human emotions and the nature of her own existence, especially her obsession with the concept of love (which she claims she cannot truly feel as a Homunculus).

She is voiced by Yūko Satō in Japanese (and Laura Bailey in the English dub), and her presence adds a dark, sensual, and dangerous energy to the series' early conflicts.
