About Supreme Deity

The Supreme Deity (also called the Supreme God) is the supreme ruler and creator of the Goddess Clan in the anime adaptation of The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai). She serves as the divine counterpart to the Demon King, representing light, order, and the Goddess Clan's side in the ancient Holy War.

She is the biological mother of the original Elizabeth (the goddess who reincarnates as Elizabeth Liones), and she personally placed the Curse of Reincarnation on Elizabeth (along with the Demon King's curse on Meliodas) as punishment for Elizabeth's forbidden love and betrayal of the clan by aiding demons.

In terms of appearance (primarily shown in the movie The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light, which concludes the anime's storyline), she is depicted as an enormous, slender, curvaceous woman with pale skin, long white hair, and ten white wings (indicating her unmatched power among goddesses). Her face is obscured by blinding pure light (described as "light itself"), though glimpses show blue lips and goddess-clan eyes with cross-like pupils. She wears a flowing white dress with a cross emblem, silver gauntlets, and a halo, appearing roughly the same massive scale as the Demon King.

Personality-wise, she comes across as ruthless, authoritarian, and fanatically devoted to perpetual conflict in the Holy War, viewing it as an eternal necessity. She looks down on other beings (even her own daughter and allies), shows no empathy, and is willing to manipulate, brainwash, or sacrifice others—including unleashing attacks that harm her own forces—to achieve her goals of dominance and restarting the war.

Her power level is god-tier: she can nullify physical attacks (as the inverse of the Demon King's ability to nullify magic), control minds via blessings/breath abilities, summon devastating elemental forces like lightning or mists of death, and remain largely immune to conventional assaults. She only fully appears and acts as the main antagonist in the post-series events covered by the Cursed by Light film, after being sealed following the original Holy War.
