Sadeena

Sadeena is a supporting character in the anime adaptation of The Rising of the Shield Hero, appearing prominently starting in Season 3.

She is a powerful Sakamata (orca/killer whale) therianthrope and a former villager from Lurolona Village (like Raphtalia). In her default form shown in the anime, she has a distinctive orca-like appearance with a large, imposing build, though she can shift or revert based on her magic levels.

Sadeena is one of the village's top fighters and acts as a big-sister ("onee-san") figure to many, including Raphtalia. Her personality is laid-back, playful, and teasing—she often comes across as lazy or carefree to keep people at arm's length, but she's deeply caring, responsible when it matters, and fiercely loyal to her allies (especially Naofumi and the village). She's strong-willed, skilled in combat (with harpoon expertise and magical abilities like Dragon Vein magic), and has a notable love for drinking, which ties into some humorous and memorable scenes.

In the anime's portrayal, she's introduced as a mysterious, formidable warrior with a mix of bubbly charm and hidden depth from her past hardships.
