Victoria Cindry

Victoria Cindry is a character from the Thriller Bark Arc in the One Piece anime (first appearing in Episode 340).

She is a zombie servant of Dr. Hogback, a member of the Mysterious Four on Thriller Bark. In life, Cindry was a famous and beautiful stage actress who tragically died about 12 years earlier after falling off the stage during a performance. Dr. Hogback, who was deeply infatuated with her (and had even proposed to her, though she was already engaged), stole her corpse and used Gecko Moria's Shadow-Shadow Fruit powers to reanimate it as his personal zombie bodyguard.

As a zombie in the anime, she has pale blue skin, stitches across her body, dull eyes, and a generally emotionless demeanor (no longer smiling like she did when alive). She's notably obsessed with hating plates — she refuses to use them, serves food directly on the table, and frequently expresses a desire for all plates in the world to disappear (a quirk tied to her reanimated state). She often acts as Hogback's assistant and enforcer, displaying a sharp, sarcastic tongue (especially toward him) and some subtle defiance despite being under control.

Her story adds a layer of tragedy to the arc, highlighting themes of obsession and the loss of humanity, and she shows moments of resistance that hint at lingering remnants of her original will.
