Shuu Iura

Shuu Iura (also spelled Shu Iura) is a supporting character in the Horimiya anime, a high school student at Katagiri Senior High School and a friend of Izumi Miyamura (he's in Class 3-2, while the core group is mostly in another class).

In terms of appearance, he has distinctive bright green hair (often spiky or tousled) and matching green eyes. He frequently wears casual layers like a sweatshirt over his uniform and is often seen with purple headphones, giving him a laid-back, music-loving vibe.

Personality-wise, Shuu is energetic, loud, outgoing, and very cheerful—he's basically the group's mood maker who loves starting games, pulling pranks, and keeping things lively (sometimes to the point of being annoying or over-the-top). He's especially close friends with Tooru Ishikawa (they've known each other since childhood) and enjoys sharing music with others. He often jokes about his lack of a girlfriend and can get a bit dramatic about it.

However, he shows a notable softer, more serious and subdued side at home, where he's a caring and protective older brother to his younger sister, Motoko—highlighting a classic "duality" in his character between his school persona and private life.
