Sakura Kono

Sakura Kono (also spelled Kouno in some sources) is a supporting character in the Horimiya anime (the 2021 adaptation).

She's the vice president of the student council at Katagiri Senior High School, where she's highly competent, responsible, and handles a lot of the behind-the-scenes work. She's best friends with Remi Ayasaki (and close to Kakeru Sengoku as well).

In terms of appearance, Sakura is a tall (around 163 cm) girl with shoulder-length forest green hair, matching green eyes, and she wears round-framed glasses. She typically appears in her school uniform with black tights and white sneakers with green laces, giving her a neat and somewhat understated look.

Personality-wise, she's kind, considerate, sweet, and well-rounded, though she's quite shy, quiet, and introverted compared to more outgoing characters. She has moments of building up courage (like when dealing with her feelings for Toru Ishikawa in the story), and she's loyal to her friends. She's also noted for being good at cooking, especially making cookies.
