Yamada Asaemon Senta

Yamada Asaemon Senta is one of the executioners from the Yamada clan in the Hell's Paradise anime (also known as Jigokuraku). He's ranked as the 5th Asaemon and serves as the monitor assigned to the criminal Yuzuriha during the expedition to the mysterious island in search of the Elixir of Life.

In terms of appearance, he's portrayed as a young man (around 17) with a chubby build, round-frame glasses, and his eyes often appear narrowed or closed. His hair is styled in a topknot with distinctive spikes sticking out, and he wears the standard Asaemon attire: a white robe with a bell on the collar, hakama, and a dark haori over it.

Personality-wise, Senta comes across as timid, nervous (he tends to sweat a lot in tense situations), kindhearted, and reserved. Despite being part of a clan of executioners, he dislikes killing and originally dreamed of becoming an artist before family duty pulled him into this path. He's intelligent and analytical, with strong knowledge in areas like anatomy, botany, and natural sciences, which helps him make sense of the island's bizarre phenomena and creatures.
