Ju Fa

Ju Fa (also known as one of the Lord Tensen members) is a major antagonist in the Hell's Paradise anime (Jigokuraku).

Ju Fa is a Tensen-class Sennin, an seemingly immortal being who rules over the island of Kotaku alongside their partner Tao Fa. They specialize in the mystic art of Bōchū Jutsu (a form of Tao manipulation tied to dual Yin-Yang principles) and have a strong affinity for the fire element. Ju Fa often prefers to remain in their Yang (male) form.

In terms of appearance (as depicted in the anime), Ju Fa has long, flowing yellow/blond hair that resembles flower petals or locks, striking golden eyes, and typically wears elegant traditional-style attire including a pale-yellow robe/haori, black hanfu, white hakama with a dark obi, a beaded necklace featuring a golden flower amulet, and black boots. Their build shifts depending on the form assumed—muscular and well-toned in Yang (male) mode, or more slender and feminine in Yin (female) mode.

Personality-wise, Ju Fa is deeply loyal and affectionate toward their partner Tao Fa (with whom they share a centuries-old bond that's both sibling-like and romantic). Toward humans and outsiders, they display arrogance, hostility, and contempt, often becoming aggressive or irritated when challenged or outmatched. They embody a mix of regal demeanor and explosive combativeness as one of the more powerful and fire-oriented members of the ruling Tensen group.
