Senku Ishigami

Senku Ishigami is the main protagonist of the anime Dr. Stone. He's a 16-year-old genius scientist and self-proclaimed "man of science" who awakens in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has been petrified for over 3,700 years.

Appearance-wise (in the anime adaptation), Senku is a slender, physically unimpressive young man of average height with pale skin. His most striking feature is his distinctive spiky hair—white at the base, fading to light green at the tips—that stands up in a brush-like style, with two locks draping over his forehead. He has sharp red eyes, and he often sports a confident or mischievous grin. In the Stone World, he typically wears simple, primitive clothing made from animal hides.

Personality-wise, Senku is extremely confident, logical, and straightforward—sometimes coming across as arrogant or blunt due to his unwavering faith in science. He's highly intelligent, resourceful, and determined, with an encyclopedic knowledge of chemistry, physics, engineering, and more. Despite his snarky, rational exterior and tendency to prioritize data over emotions, he's genuinely noble, kind-hearted, and deeply committed to using science to help and elevate everyone. He values his friends, builds teams around shared goals, and maintains an optimistic belief that science can overcome any challenge, famously declaring he'll rebuild civilization "in the name of science" with his catchphrase "10 billion percent" certainty.

He's a refreshing take on a shonen lead—more brain than brawn—driven by curiosity, logic, and a love for discovery rather than raw power or fighting spirit.
