Matsukaze

Matsukaze is a supporting character introduced in the later parts of the Dr. Stone anime (specifically in Dr. Stone: New World and beyond). He's a skilled warrior from centuries in the past, originally a loyal servant and fighter in a historical era affected by the petrification event.

In the anime's depiction, he's portrayed as a tall, lean but muscular young man with a handsome, stern face, long black hair tied in a ponytail, and a prominent crescent moon-shaped petrification scar on his forehead. He has a strong sense of honor, duty, and bushido-like principles, showing deep loyalty (especially after mistaking Ginro for the reincarnation of his late master from the past, whom he served devotedly).

After being revived by Senku's group, he joins the Kingdom of Science as a powerful combatant and bodyguard figure, often acting with seriousness, respect, and a readiness to protect others—though his intense loyalty and old-fashioned warrior mindset lead to some humorous or dramatic moments in the modern Stone World setting.
