Kinro

Kinro is one of the guards of Ishigami Village in the Dr. Stone anime (voiced by Tomoaki Maeno in Japanese and Jessie James Grelle in English). He's the older brother of the more laid-back Ginro and takes his duties extremely seriously.

In terms of appearance, he's depicted as a tall, muscular young man with short brown hair, green eyes, a scar on his right cheek, and a distinctive long lock of hair hanging between his eyes. He usually wears a sleeveless blue karate gi-style outfit with a rope belt and carries a spear (often golden). He has nearsightedness, which initially causes him to squint or scowl a lot, but he later starts wearing glasses (provided by Senku's science) to correct it.

Personality-wise, Kinro is stern, honorable, and rule-obsessed—his motto is literally "Rules are rules." He's hardworking, despises laziness or cheating (even when it could benefit the greater good), and is deeply committed to protecting the village. Despite his rigid attitude, he comes to respect Senku's scientific approach and joins the Kingdom of Science early on, serving in its defense/power team with loyalty and bravery.

He's often contrasted with his brother Ginro for comedic effect, highlighting his no-nonsense reliability.
