Jiji

Jiji (real name Jin Enjoji) is a supporting/main character in Dandadan. He's Momo Ayase's childhood friend and her first crush from back in the day. After moving away for years, he returns under tough circumstances (his home gets haunted, leading to his parents' hospitalization), ends up staying with Momo and Seiko, and transfers to her school.

Physically, he's a tall, muscular, athletic high school guy with short auburn/brown hair, brown eyes, and good looks that make him very popular with girls. Personality-wise, he's cheerful, super energetic, theatrical, a bit shallow/goofy in his words and actions, and tends to be over-the-top dramatic for comic relief. Despite the silly exterior, he's loyal and has deeper layers (especially regarding his family situation and later developments with spiritual powers/possession by the Evil Eye spirit, which makes him one of the series' strongest fighters).

He's often a source of both humor and some romantic tension (especially with Okarun around).
