Aira Shiratori

Aira Shiratori is one of the main characters in Dandadan. She's a high school student at Kami High (the same school as Momo Ayase and Okarun/Ken Takakura) and initially one of the most popular girls there due to her striking beauty.

She has short light pink hair (often described as framing one side of her face) and dark pink/purple eyes, with an overall very attractive and stylish appearance that she takes great pride in.

Personality-wise, Aira outwardly comes across as sweet, innocent, and a bit air-headed to maintain her popularity, but she's actually quite vain, arrogant, and self-centered (especially about her looks). She starts off as somewhat of a rival/antagonist figure with a chuunibyou ("delusional hero") complex, believing she's a chosen magical girl-type heroine destined to fight evil. Over time, after getting involved in the supernatural events (particularly the Acrobatic Silky arc), she gains yokai-derived powers — including enhanced acrobatics and prehensile hair control — and gradually becomes a genuine ally and friend to the main cast, showing growth, leadership qualities, and more redeeming traits.
