Reika

Reika is a minor character in the anime Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, appearing primarily in Episode 4 ("Flight Attendant of the Dead").

She is a 26-year-old former flight attendant (cabin attendant) who worked alongside her coworkers Yukari and Maki. In the anime, Akira and Kencho encounter her and the others taking shelter in a department store/mall area early in the zombie outbreak.

Reika is portrayed as a laid-back, party-loving type who enjoys drinking heavily—often using alcohol to cope with the stress of the apocalypse. This habit leaves her impaired and vulnerable at a critical moment. She gets bitten (notably in a rather unfortunate spot during a struggle), turns into a zombie fairly quickly, infects Maki, and is ultimately put down by Kencho to protect the group.

Her role is brief but memorable for highlighting the chaotic, unpredictable nature of the early outbreak and serving as part of the episode's dark humor and zombie action. (Voiced by Yōko Hikasa in Japanese, with Allegra Clark in the English dub.)
