Meliodas

Meliodas is the main protagonist and captain of the Seven Deadly Sins in the anime The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai). He bears the title Dragon's Sin of Wrath, symbolized by a dragon mark on his left arm.

Despite his childlike appearance—he's exceptionally short with messy blond hair, emerald eyes, and a youthful, beardless face—Meliodas is actually over 3,000 years old and a powerful demon. He looks like a teenager (or younger) but has a muscular build hidden under his casual attire, often wearing a white shirt, black vest, and tie.

In personality, he comes across as cheerful, laid-back, easygoing, and playful, rarely losing his cool even in dangerous situations. He's known for his perverted antics (especially toward Elizabeth, constantly groping or teasing her), terrible cooking skills at his traveling tavern the Boar Hat, and a carefree attitude that makes him seem more like a silly trickster than a serious warrior. However, this facade hides a much deeper side: when those he cares about (especially Elizabeth or his comrades) are threatened or harmed, he unleashes terrifying wrath, becoming cold, ruthless, and overwhelmingly aggressive. His demonic heritage can manifest in a "Demon Mark" on his forehead, amplifying his power but shifting him toward a more merciless demeanor.

He's immensely strong and agile, with his signature ability Full Counter allowing him to reflect magical attacks back at enemies with greater force. He wields a broken sword for much of the early series (later his sacred treasure, the demon sword Lostvayne), as his raw power makes full weapons risky due to potential massive destruction.

Overall, Meliodas is a complex mix of goofy charm, perverted humor, unbreakable loyalty, and hidden tragic depth, making him the charismatic yet formidable leader of the group.
