Melascula

Melascula (also spelled Merascylla in some translations) is one of the Ten Commandments, the elite demon warriors serving the Demon King in The Seven Deadly Sins anime (Nanatsu no Taizai).

She bears the Commandment of Faith, which curses anyone who displays doubt or loses faith (in anything they deeply trust, like a loved one, god, or ideal) in her presence by burning their eyes.

In the anime, she appears as a young woman with long pink hair, black eyes, and a revealing outfit consisting of a sleeveless white leotard with a pink bow, pink stockings, and often surrounded by a dark, misty aura. Her true/original form is a massive, venomous hooded snake (which she can revert to), reflecting her origins—she began as a snake that evolved into a demon after absorbing miasma in the Demon Realm for centuries.

Personality-wise, she's calm, composed, calculating, and mocking, with a sadistic streak. She enjoys toying with opponents, manipulating souls, and reviving the dead (often as vengeful spirits driven by regrets or hatred) to use against the living. She's fiercely loyal to the Demon Clan and shows particular disdain for traitors like Meliodas.

In the anime (especially from Revival of The Commandments onward), she engages in key confrontations with the Sins, using necromancy and soul-based abilities, though she often meets brutal defeats despite her cunning.
