Hendrickson

Hendrickson is a major character in the anime The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai), serving as one of the Great Holy Knights of the Kingdom of Liones and a close lifelong friend of fellow Great Holy Knight Dreyfus.

In the anime's early arcs (particularly the Holy Knights Saga/Season 1), he appears as a serious, calculating, and ambitious figure who helps orchestrate a coup against the kingdom, frames the Seven Deadly Sins for the murder of Great Holy Knight Zaratras (which he and Dreyfus committed), and experiments with Demon Clan blood to create enhanced "New Generation" Holy Knights. He ultimately assimilates demonic power himself, transforming into more powerful (and monstrous) forms, including red and gray demon-influenced states, in his quest to revive the Demon Clan and ignite a new Holy War.

Physically, he's depicted as a tall adult man (around 39 years old) with short silver/light-colored hair, a goatee, and typically wears full-body armor covered by a robe.

His personality shifts notably: under demonic corruption/influence (largely from the demon Fraudrin), he's ruthless, manipulative, and willing to sacrifice others. After being defeated by the Seven Deadly Sins and freed from that corruption, he reverts to a kinder, more humble, gentle, and somewhat shy nature (especially toward women), showing deep remorse and later aiding the protagonists in atonement.
