Hawk

Hawk is one of the most recognizable and beloved supporting characters in the anime The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai).

He is a talking pink pig who serves as Meliodas's loyal companion and the official "cleaner" (or self-proclaimed Captain of the Scraps Disposal Knights / Leftover Disposal Knights) at the Boar Hat tavern. His main job is enthusiastically eating all the customers' leftover food scraps, and he has an incredible sense of smell that lets him detect leftovers from great distances.

Appearance-wise, Hawk is a relatively large, round, pink pig (about 100 cm long) with short legs, a distinctive clover-shaped black spot on his rear, and an earring in his left ear that reads "Star Boar" (or similar wording in some translations). He has M-shaped ears like his gigantic mother, who carries the mobile Boar Hat bar on her back.

Personality-wise, Hawk is loud, brash, overconfident, and full of bravado—he constantly boasts about his strength (claiming to be on par with or stronger than the Sins themselves), delivers sarcastic commentary, and gets easily annoyed (especially by Meliodas's antics or Elizabeth's airheaded moments). Despite the big ego and comic relief role, he's deeply loyal, courageous, and protective of his friends, often putting himself in danger to shield them or help in battles with moves like his signature attacks.

He's widely regarded as the series' primary source of humor and lighthearted energy amid the heavier plot moments.
