Merlin

Merlin is a key member of the Seven Deadly Sins in the anime The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai), bearing the title Boar's Sin of Gluttony (her symbolic boar tattoo appears on the left side of her neck, often called the "Crimson Pig").

She is widely regarded as the greatest sorcerer/mage in Britannia, possessing immense magical power and knowledge. Her inherent ability is Infinity, which allows her to make certain magical effects (like spells or transformations) permanent or unending. She wields a Sacred Treasure called Aldan (the Morning Star), a floating orb that assists with her spells.

In her typical appearance (the form she maintains in the anime), Merlin looks like a tall, slender, attractive woman with shoulder-length black hair, golden eyes, and distinctive beauty marks below her right eye. She often wears highly revealing outfits, such as an open long coat with fur collar, short shorts, and thigh-high boots, giving her a confident and seductive vibe.

Personality-wise, she's calm, intelligent, level-headed, and mysterious, with a cheerful and kind side noted by others (like Escanor). She's deeply curious and driven by a "gluttony" for knowledge and understanding magic/power, sometimes to extreme or risky degrees. As one of the founding members alongside Meliodas, she plays a strategic, supportive role in the group, often using her intellect and magic to turn the tide in battles or uncover secrets.
