Tessia Eralith

Tessia Eralith is a key character in the anime adaptation of The Beginning After The End (also known as TBATE). She is the deuteragonist and serves as the princess (and heir) of the elven kingdom of Elenoir.

She is an elf with distinctive pointed ears. In her initial appearances (as a child when first introduced), she has long gunmetal gray/silver hair that shines under sunlight, often styled with braids, and striking teal/cyan eyes set in a delicate, pale face. Her overall look gives her an ethereal, almost otherworldly beauty that's frequently highlighted as delicate and gem-like.

Tessia is Arthur Leywin's childhood friend and primary love interest. Their relationship begins when Arthur rescues her from danger early on, leading to her family taking him in for training under her grandfather, Virion. She grows into a capable mage, particularly skilled in nature/plant-based magic, and later becomes involved in academy life (such as at Xyrus Academy, where she takes on leadership roles like student council president).

In the anime (which began airing in 2025), she is voiced by Kana Ichinose (Japanese) and Abigail Blythe (English), and her portrayal emphasizes her kind, determined personality alongside her royal elven heritage. As of the current point in the series, she remains a central figure in Arthur's story and emotional arc.
