Melinda Desmond

Melinda Desmond is the wife of Donovan Desmond and the mother of Demetrius and Damian Desmond in the Spy x Family anime. She serves as the chairwoman of the elite Lady Patriots Society, a social group for prominent women in Ostania.

In her anime appearance (debuting in Season 3, around Episode 42), she's portrayed as a beautiful, fairly tall woman with long, wavy dark brown hair often tied into a loose bun, hazel eyes, fair skin, and a distinctive beauty mark below the right corner of her mouth. Her eyes are narrowed and slightly drooping, similar to her son Damian's.

Personality-wise, Melinda comes across as energetic, cheerful, friendly, and somewhat ditzy or upbeat in social settings—especially when interacting with Yor Forger, whom she befriends warmly and encourages during group activities like sports. She appears kind, sociable, and approachable within her circle, often treating others with patience and enthusiasm.

However, she has a more complex and darker side beneath the surface. She can switch to a colder, more detached demeanor (particularly regarding family matters or her husband), and her inner thoughts reveal deep internal conflicts, emotional struggles, and a mix of love and resentment tied to her distant family life and marriage.
