Penny

Penny is a recurring character in the anime series Pokémon Horizons: The Series. She is a student at Naranja Academy in the Paldea region and serves as the academy's tech expert, often helping with technical matters and hacking-related tasks.

She is a shy, reserved, and observant young girl who prefers staying behind the scenes. She has a distinctive appearance with short, boyish hair (red in the front and pale blue fading to white in the back), fair skin, black eyes, and round black-framed glasses. She typically wears a large dark hoodie with a Poké Ball design, a short pleated skirt, patterned tights, chunky boots, and carries an oversized Eevee-themed backpack.

In the anime, she becomes involved in the story through her friendship with Dot (from the Rising Volt Tacklers) and assists the protagonists in various situations, including battles and missions against antagonists like the Explorers. She is a longtime fan of Dot's online persona, Nidothing, and is voiced by Ryō Hirohashi in Japanese and Kristen McGuire in English.
