Ryme

Ryme is a supporting character in the anime series Pokémon Horizons: The Series. She is the Ghost-type Gym Leader of Montenevera Gym in the Paldea region and a famous professional rapper known as the "MC of RIP."

She has a bold, upbeat, and passionate personality, often incorporating rap battles and music into her Gym challenges to help Trainers sync emotionally with their Pokémon. In the anime, she first appears briefly in episode 52 and has a major role in episode 61 ("Resonating Spirits in a Challenge to Ryme!"), where she battles Roy in a unique test involving a rap battle followed by a Pokémon battle. She encourages Trainers to "let their souls resonate" and is supportive even in defeat, helping Roy grow after he initially fails her challenge.

Her design matches the games: a dark-skinned middle-aged woman with white braided hair (front styled like a skeletal hand), green eyes with gold makeup, and stylish black-and-gold clothing including a backward cap. In the English dub, she's voiced by Melique Berger.
