Carrie

In the Pokémon anime (specifically during the XY series in the Kalos region), Carrie is a recurring minor character who serves as one of the apprentices (along with others like Charlene) to Olympia, the Psychic-type Gym Leader of Anistar City.

She's depicted as a young Psychic-type Trainer with a hot-headed and impulsive personality — she tends to jump to hasty conclusions when interpreting Olympia's vague future visions. For example, when Olympia foresees a vision involving Ash and Professor Sycamore in a "vortex," Carrie misinterprets it as them being dangerous threats to Kalos and immediately attacks them (using her Pokémon Sigilyph and Sableye) to "protect" the region. After being defeated in battle and corrected by Olympia and Charlene, she feels remorseful and apologizes.

She appears primarily in the episodes "Cloudy Fate, Bright Future!" and "All Eyes on the Future!" (around the Anistar Gym arc), where she witnesses Ash's Gym battle against Olympia and is present when he earns the Psychic Badge.
