Mars is one of the Commanders of Team Galactic in the Pokémon anime, specifically appearing in Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl (the Sinnoh region arc).

She has short red hair styled with curls framing her face and spiky tufts, along with matching red eyes. She wears the standard black-and-silver Team Galactic uniform, complete with a round skirt and silver knee-high boots.

In the anime, Mars is portrayed as a loyal, somewhat hot-headed and bratty subordinate to Cyrus, often showing strong devotion to his vision of creating a new world. She frequently battles the protagonists (Ash and friends) while carrying out Team Galactic schemes, such as stealing legendary artifacts or advancing their plans involving legendary Pokémon like Dialga and Palkia. Her signature Pokémon is Purugly, which she relies on heavily in fights.

She appears in several key episodes involving Team Galactic's major operations, including attempts to capture orbs, locate Spear Pillar, and support the team's ultimate goals, before ultimately facing consequences alongside the other commanders after Cyrus's disappearance.
