In the Pokémon anime (specifically Pokémon the Series: Black & White, during the Episode N arc), Ghetsis is the head and founder of Team Plasma, often addressed as "Lord Ghetsis" by his subordinates. He serves as the main antagonist in that storyline.
He has a striking appearance with long, pale green (or gray-green) hair, red eyes, and a distinctive red monocle/eyepiece over his right eye. He wears elaborate dark robes or a black cloak featuring eye-like patterns, and he often conceals one hand while using a cane in the other.
Personality-wise, Ghetsis presents a calm and composed front at times, but he's fundamentally a cold, power-hungry, and manipulative tyrant. He lies to and exploits those around him—including his adoptive son N and the other adopted children in Team Plasma—by pretending to champion the "liberation" of Pokémon from trainers, while his true goal is personal domination and control over the Unova region (and potentially beyond). He's ruthless, abusive in his relationships (especially toward N), and driven purely by ambition and a desire for absolute power, with little regard for anyone or anything else.
Overall, the anime version keeps him as a straightforward, menacing villain focused on conquest, though his portrayal is somewhat more direct and less psychologically layered than in the games.
