Cheryl

Cheryl (Japanese: モミ Momi) is a one-time guest character in the Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl anime. She appears in the episodes set in Eterna Forest (starting with "Some Enchanted Sweetening!").

She is an amateur treasure hunter inspired by her grandfather's adventures and stories. Her goal is to find the legendary Amber Castle (also called the Old Chateau in some contexts) and obtain a sample of its rare Enchanted Honey produced by Combee and Vespiquen.

Cheryl is portrayed as adventurous, calm, optimistic, and kind-hearted, though she can be a bit clumsy or ditzy at times. She travels with a team that includes her main partner Chansey (which she uses effectively in battles), a Burmy that evolves into Mothim during her time with Ash and friends, and she also owns all three forms of Wormadam as a collector of honey tree-related Pokémon (though they're not used in battles on-screen).

She temporarily joins Ash, Dawn, and Brock during their journey through the forest to help achieve her goal, and parts ways with them once she succeeds in getting some of the honey.
