Iris

Iris is one of Ash Ketchum's main traveling companions in the Pokémon anime during the Black & White series (set in the Unova region). She's a energetic, tomboyish young girl from the Village of Dragons, with a wild and adventurous personality—she loves swinging on vines, climbing trees, and eating berries right off the branch.

Her dream is to become a Dragon Master, and she has a deep passion for Dragon-type Pokémon (she's even called "The Girl Who Knows the Hearts of Dragons"). She travels with her Axew, who often hides in her long, dark purple hair. Iris is known for her habit of teasing Ash by calling him a "little kid" whenever he acts immature, though she's playful and brave at heart. Later in the series, she goes on to become the Champion of the Unova League.
