Alexa

Alexa (Japanese name: Pansy) is a supporting character in the Pokémon anime, primarily appearing in Pokémon the Series: Black & White (during the Decolore Islands arc) and later in parts of Pokémon the Series: XY.

She's a professional journalist and reporter from Lumiose City in the Kalos region. Alexa travels the world documenting Pokémon stories, habitats, and events, often equipped with a camera headset (microphone on one side, camera on the other) for her work. She's energetic, curious, dedicated to her scoops, and has a friendly, sociable personality. She also sometimes rides or uses her Pokémon to carry her gear.

Alexa is the older sister of Viola, the Gym Leader of Santalune City. She first meets Ash and his friends in the Decolore Archipelago, where her unfamiliar Kalos Pokémon (like Helioptile and Gogoat) intrigue them since they're from a new region. She later inspires Ash to head to Kalos and appears occasionally during his journey there.

Her known Pokémon include Helioptile (shy and often stays close to her), Gogoat (her main transport and helper), and Noivern.
