Sanji

Sanji, also known as "Black Leg" Sanji, is the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates in the One Piece anime. He's the fifth member to join the crew (fourth to officially join after the Baratie Arc) and part of the "Monster Trio" alongside Luffy and Zoro due to his exceptional combat strength.

In terms of appearance, Sanji is a tall, lean, muscular young man (around 180 cm post-timeskip) with distinctive jaw-length blond hair swept over one side of his face, covering one eye. His most iconic features are his curly/spiraled eyebrows (right eyebrow spirals outward, left inward) and his constant cigarette smoking. He typically dresses in sharp, formal attire like tailored suits—often black—with dress shoes, emphasizing his elegant, gentlemanly vibe.

Personality-wise, Sanji is calm, composed, and cool-headed in most situations, often coming across as suave and perceptive (with jazzy background music cues in the anime enhancing his "secret agent"-like demeanor). He's an incredibly skilled chef who takes immense pride in his cooking and dreams of finding the legendary All Blue, a sea where ingredients from all four blues meet. However, his biggest quirk is being an extreme gentleman/pervert—he becomes instantly lovestruck and flirtatious around beautiful women (often to comedic excess, including nosebleeds or swooning), and he absolutely refuses to hit or harm women under any circumstances, even in battle.

He's fiercely loyal to his crew, quick to anger when his principles (especially regarding food or women) are crossed, and a master of powerful kicking-based martial arts (never using his hands to fight, due to his respect for cooking). Overall, Sanji blends sophistication, chivalry, humor, and serious fighting prowess into one of the series' most charismatic and beloved characters.
