Kengo Usui

Kengo Usui (often romanized as such, though sometimes seen as similar variations) is a supporting character in the Maken-ki! anime. He's a first-year student at Tenbi Academy and a member of the Maken-ki (Student Council Security Division).

He's Takeru Ooyama's close friend and classmate, sharing a very similar perverted personality—they bond quickly over things like trying to peek on girls (e.g., during physical exams or other opportunities), earning them a reputation as the school's resident creeps.

Kengo has a major crush on Kodama Himegami, openly admiring her and trying (unsuccessfully) to impress her or get closer, including being part of her fan club. He's generally comic relief, often joining Takeru in their antics, and wields a Maken called "Point Man" that allows swapping positions with objects or people.

In the anime adaptation, his role stays focused on the lighter, ecchi side of the story without diving deeply into heavier backstory elements that appear more in the source material.
