Furan Takaki

Furan Takaki is a third-year student at Tenbi Academy and serves as the Student Council President in the Maken-ki! anime. This role also makes her the de facto head of the school's security division (Maken-ki).

She has a strict, no-nonsense personality, strongly enforcing rules and discipline while acting as a role model for others. She tends to delegate combat duties to subordinates like Haruko and rarely fights directly herself, though she's one of the academy's top ability users. Her Element (Maken) is Habaya, a bow that fires homing light arrows.

Furan suffers from androphobia (a fear of men), often appearing shy or uncomfortable around them and openly stating her dislike for men. The anime includes comedic elements around her, such as a recurring gag involving her animal-print panties (like teddy bears or other cute designs) being exposed.

In terms of appearance (anime version), she's depicted as a teenage girl of average height with orange-blonde hair styled in a distinctive ring-shaped braid hanging from the back in a bun, red-framed glasses, and dark pink/red eyes. She typically wears the standard Tenbi Academy uniform.
