Female Merchant

Female Merchant (also known as the former Noble Fencer) is a supporting character in the Goblin Slayer anime (and light novel/manga series).

She is a young woman from a noble family who originally ran away from home to become an adventurer, aiming to make a name for herself with her fencing skills. After a traumatic encounter with goblins that wiped out her party and left her as the sole survivor (with severe physical and emotional scars, including a brand on her neck), she was rescued with help from Goblin Slayer and his group.

She later abandons adventuring, cuts her distinctive pigtails, and reinvents herself as a successful merchant. She uses her noble background, business acumen, and connections (including ties to the royal court) to fund ventures, hire adventurers (often Goblin Slayer's party for goblin-related threats), and even support initiatives like adventurer training. She harbors a deep, personal hatred for goblins due to her past experience.

In the anime (particularly Season 2), she appears as a composed, resourceful, and influential figure who occasionally commissions quests involving goblin threats.
